Hydroponics Gardening - The Most Famous Way for Gardening

As a gardener every person is different, there are different ways to use hydroponics equipment. Take a browse through the following options to find the hydroponics method according to personal preferences and needs of your plants.

Culture solution

There are two types of hydroponic methods. First, let's look at some of the most popular methods of culture solution. The culture solutions, please contact with the root of the nutrient solution instead of a solid medium.

Static solution culture

One of the simplest methods are static hydroponic solution techniques, the gardeners put their plants in a nutrient solution bath. Each container, such as bottles or plastic buckets - it should work fine. Often the nutrient solution aerated with aquarium equipment such as pumps, pipes and valves. To maintain adequate nutrition, the solution should be changed regularly, and monitored using a conductivity meter. In addition, the container in which plants are grown to be clear, with small holes at the top. This prevents the formation of algae.

Water Culture

In DWC the roots hanging in a solution containing both nutrients and water. This can be done with simple materials such as plastic buckets and pots. Using a pump, a solution saturated with oxygen, which means that plants can grow faster than other methods.

Continuous flow solution culture (commonly known as NFT)

Compared with the previous method, in which the gardener to manually change the technical solution once every few days, continuous flow of nutrient solution allows the solution to continue spreading the roots. Obviously, this makes the system easier to automate. One of the most popular applications of this technique is called nutrient film technique (NFT), in which the flow of water flowing through the roots of plants. While this technique requires careful configuration - such as control of the valley, stream, and the length of the line - allows access to proper plant nutrition and oxygen, which ultimately means growing in a level much better. In fact, one of the few negative things about the NFT is that it is susceptible to power outages.

Aeroponics

One of the most creative methods of hydroponics, aeroponics, which allows the gardener to just spray a fine mist that the roots of plants. The fog is full of water and nutrient solution, and the roots suspended in the air. Research shows that even this method is more efficient in the production of plants that are rich in nutrients.

Culture medium

The other main types of growing medium hydroponics, in which the media such as clay or coconut shells are used to distribute nutrients to the plants.

Passive irrigation

In this way, gardeners use a porous medium for the transfer of water and nutrients to the roots of plants. Using capillary action, the plant is achieved through the media to absorb the nutrient solution on the other side. Because the porous oxygen can reach the roots more easily, accelerate plant growth. This method is relatively simple, and requires the least amount of monitoring of the gardener.

"Floods and out" or "ebb and flow" irrigation

Using this method, gardeners fill the tray with the medium, such as clay, and then place the tray in a bathtub full of nutrient solution. Periodically, the pump fill the tray with water, which flows slowly through the growth of porous media. This is an effective way to distribute oxygen and nutrients for your plants.

Run to waste

As sub-irrigation, run to waste system to implement the nutrient solution in the trays of plants growing in porous media. However, this solution is usually poured over the top, and then pass through. This can be done manually or by using a pump connected to a timer.
